This role assists with ingredient preparation, pizza assembly, cooking, order completion, station organization, and maintaining food quality and cleanliness during busy service periods. Common Job Roles Pizza Line Worker Pizza Line Cook Pizza Kitchen Worker Pizza Preparation Associate Pizzeria Kitchen Team Member Key Responsibilities Prepare dough, sauces, cheeses, meats, vegetables, and other pizza ingredients Assemble pizzas according to recipes, customer orders, and portion standards Operate pizza ovens and kitchen equipment safely as trained Monitor cooking times and temperatures to maintain consistent food quality Coordinate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to complete orders accurately Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked pizza preparation station Restock ingredients, toppings, packaging, and kitchen supplies Prepare and package pizzas and other menu items for dine-in, pickup, and delivery Monitor ingredient freshness and follow proper food storage procedures Clean and sanitize workstations, utensils, equipment, and food preparation surfaces Assist with opening, closing, and general kitchen duties Follow food safety, sanitation, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures Support the kitchen team during high-volume service periods Requirements Basic knowledge of food preparation and safe food handling Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and customer orders accurately Strong attention to detail and food quality Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads safely Preferred Skills Experience working on a pizza or restaurant kitchen line Familiarity with commercial pizza ovens and kitchen equipment Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices Strong organization and time management skills Ability to multitask during busy service periods Good teamwork and communication abilities Positive attitude and willingness to learn About the Company Macon Pizza Company operates in the pizza and food service industry, providing pizza and casual dining services with a focus on quality preparation, efficient kitchen operations, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction.
