is looking to hire an Advanced Compressor Assembly Technician to join our team in Spicer, Minnesota. We manufacture a wide variety of industrial air compressor systems, and this is not a basic assembly position . This job includes building, wiring motors, plumbing, fabricating and troubleshooting compressor equipment while working with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control systems. If you are mechanically inclined and have any experience with wiring motors, mechanical repairs, fabrication and troubleshooting, we want to talk to you. What You'll Do Build, assemble, test, and troubleshoot industrial air compressors. Work with a variety of compressor types and configurations. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control-system problems. Troubleshoot motors, pumps, valves, sensors, controls, and instrumentation. Perform startup, testing, adjustments, and final performance verification. Use meters, gauges, hand tools, and diagnostic equipment. Find the root cause of problems rather than simply replacing parts. Work with engineering and production to solve difficult technical issues. Make repairs, modifications, and adjustments as needed. Help improve our assembly and testing processes. Maintain a safe and organized shop. We're Looking For Positive attitude and team player Experience working with industrial machinery, compressors, or similar equipment. Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills. Experience with pneumatic systems. Electrical wiring/troubleshooting experience. Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Comfortable working independently. Welding, metal work or fabrication experience. Pride in workmanship and attention to detail. Ability to be on your feet all day and lift up to 75-lbs.
