Assembly Technician

• I-Purge (Level I) We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Assembly Technician to join our production team in the I-Purge department.

In this role, you will be responsible for assembling inflatable bladder systems by preparing fabric components, securing specialized hardware, and cutting materials to precision. This position offers a flexible work setup where you can choose to stand or sit at your designated workstation based on your comfort and task requirements.

$18.00 per hour

Friday Key Responsibilities Bladder Assembly:

Retrieve large circles of fabric from supply totes, slide them over the core tubes, and securely fasten them using hand-crimping tools.

Hardware Installation:

Attach and tighten essential tube fittings and hardware using manual wrenches to ensure a leak-proof seal.

Material Preparation:

Measure and cut rubber tubing to precise, specified lengths using industrial scissors.

Inventory Management:

Monitor your workstation supplies and independently retrieve fabric totes from the stockroom as needed to maintain a continuous workflow.

Quality Control:

Visually inspect components during assembly to ensure they meet engineering standards and product specifications.

Qualifications & Skills Measurement Skills:

Excellent ability to read tape measures or rulers accurately.

Basic Math:

Strong basic math skills for calculating lengths and material requirements.

Manual Dexterity:

Comfort working with hand tools, including hand crimpers, wrenches, and scissors.

Physical Demands:

Ability to lift and transport supply totes from stock areas; flexibility to sit or stand for extended periods during the shift. Strong grip strength.

Dependability:

Strong work ethic, attention to safety protocols, and the ability to work independently.
