Job Description

CNC Responsibilities:
  • Analyze materials provided by Project Managers/Head of Shop and determine best way to proceed with cutting process
  • Understand shop tickets and renderings/layouts provided
  • Program CNC in most efficient way possible
  • Use creativity and problem-solving skills to continuously develop new methods of approaching machining
  • Stay current on CNC technologies and help to develop overall digital fabrication methods
  • Develop ideas for appropriate clamping methods and jigs to assist in machining process
  • Inspect parts to ensure accuracy
  • Maintain a log of programming time spend on each project
Drafting Responsibilities:
  • Create shop drawings from Architectural Drawings and properly detail for stone and masonry conditions
  • Revise Shop Drawings based on Architect Comments
  • Create detailed renderings of rooms based on actual images of client selected materials
  • Create clear tickets of stone assemblies based on shop drawings
  • Identify incomplete information in drawings/specs and produce Request for Information drawings
  • Create installation drawings to assist installers
  • Create documentation to aid in fabrication of parts over-seas
  • Create 3D models of complex stone assemblies
  • Produce accurate 3D models specifically for use in digital fabrication

$60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
