As a vital part of our production process, you will play a key role in ensuring that each product meets rigorous quality standards while maintaining safety protocols. Responsibilities Assemble mechanical components and subassemblies using hand tools, power tools, and specialized industrial equipment Interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and manufacturing documents to ensure accurate assembly procedures Measure parts with precision instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other measuring devices to verify specifications Use shop math skills to calculate dimensions, tolerances, and assembly requirements accurately Operate pneumatic tools, welding equipment, soldering stations, and fabrication machinery as needed for assembly tasks Follow safety protocols by properly using personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to all safety guidelines during manual handling and fabrication processes Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored and accounted for at the end of shifts Skills Proficiency with measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for mechanical assembly Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as welding, soldering, machining, and fabrication techniques Experience with hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and specialized industrial equipment Mechanical knowledge related to assembly procedures and interpretation of mechanical blueprints Familiarity with shop math for calculations involving dimensions and tolerances Warehouse experience or familiarity with material handling equipment like forklifts is a plus Ability to interpret production documents accurately while following detailed instructions Understanding of safety practices including PPE use during assembly operations Mechanical troubleshooting skills for identifying issues during assembly or fabrication processes This position is paid and offers an engaging environment where your technical skills can thrive.
