Job Description
Tymetal Corp., is seeking an Assembler to assist with the assembly of aluminum gates at our facility in Pearland, Texas. We are looking for a detail oriented and safety minded individual with assembly experience in a manufacturing environment. Our Assemblers are responsible for many aspects of aluminum gate assembly, including the transportation of materials, cutting of materials, and drilling for the assembly of the finished product as well as the preparation of the finished product for shipment. Strong mechanical aptitude.
Capable of handling multiple tasks and working with little or no supervision.
Experience in accurately reading a tape measure.
Able to read blueprints and follow verbal instructions.
Must be safety conscious and able to adhere to all safety standards.
High level of motivation and a strong attention to detail.
Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
Ability to access equipment at various levels by reaching or climbing a ladder, bend over, walk, kneel and stand for extended periods of time.
One or more years of assembly experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
