General Summary:

BTG IPI, a division of BTG located in De Pere, WI has an opening for a Full-time 2nd shift General Assembler. Here are the shift schedules available: 2nd shift

• 4 days a week, 10 hours a day (Monday
• Thursday) 12pm
• 10 pm.

Responsibilities:

Position and assemble parts according to special instructions, routings and blueprints. Measure parts to specific tolerances. Operate lathe, milling machine, thread roller, chrome plater, hand tools, and pneumatic tools to aid in assembly Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations. Complete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision. Package product and assist shipping and receiving when needed Responsible for own personal safety, the safety of the team and those around you Work in accordance with and enforce compliance with all BTG policies (ex: Safety, Code of Ethics, Commercial Policy, Security Policy and Export Compliance) to maintain BTG reputation and image

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Must be able to read and interpret drawings, use simple math, and use basic handheld measuring tools. Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance. Must be able to adequately use handheld power tools. Ability to determine cause of operating errors and decide what to do about it. Demonstrate a positive attitude, be able to work in a team environment, be respectful to all members of the organization and display effective communication skills.

Required Education/Experience:

High School Diploma/GED Equivalent Required Minimum 1 year of factory related experience. Physical Conditions / Working Environment Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly Must be able to sit or stand, bend and move about the facility
