Standard Products Assembler Responsibilities:

• Set up winding machinery for operation.
• Assemble units according to three-view drawings or blueprints using coils, bobbins, cores, brackets, terminals, bolts, washers, nuts, insulation, magnetic laminations, enclosures, etc. using hand and power hand tools. Tape units, as necessary.
• Load and change spools of wire and coils
• Test assembled units and verify units meet all electrical and mechanical specifications.
• Weld and solder copper and steel. Hand solder wire to terminals.
• Assemble core legs.
• Label products as appropriate.
• Follow all policies, procedures, and Expectations.
• Computer keyboard entry of all necessary production data.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements for

Standard Products Assembler:

• 2 years of steady work experience is preferred.
• Copper and Steel welding and hand soldering experience
• Read 3-way Dimensional Drawings, Blueprints, and Work Orders in English.
• Write production information/data
• Read and correctly interpret measurements using tape measures in English units of measure.
