Our facility in Littleton, CO has an immediate opportunity for a level 2 Demand Manager & Supply Chain Planner to join our mission supporting the Orion program. Lockheed Martin is the prime contractor building the Orion Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle, NASA's first spacecraft designed for long-duration, human-rated deep space exploration. Orion will transport humans to interplanetary destinations beyond low Earth orbit, such as asteroids, the moon and eventually Mars, and return them safely back to Earth.
In this role, you will be responsible for loading the requirements for Orion at our various manufacturing centers in our ERP system and ensuring accuracy while working with the technicians and engineers on the floor to understand true need dates. As a supply chain planner, you will also be responsible for working with the Procurement organization to ensure that critical orders are expedited through the supply chain and prioritized appropriately to meet production needs. To be successful, you will need to be highly detail oriented and be able to work well as part of a team and also independently. As our Demand Manager and Supply Chain Planner, you will:

To be successful, you will need to be highly detail oriented and be able to work well as part of a team and also independently. As our Demand Manager and Supply Chain Planner, you will:
- Simulate and create ERP demands managed in SAP,
- Provide status of the parts in the supply chain process,
- Work with Central Buy Part Planning to ensure parts get transferred or purchase requisitions created on time
- Support closure of production orders and Q-notes,
- Execute shipping and logistics between our manfucturing centers and the Kennedy Space Center
- Process government-furnished materials (GCFM)
- Communicate daily with local test engineers and operators #LMSpaceRA Supports production, business, and other processes in a team-based manufacturing environment.
- Experience in SAP or ERP
- Experience in a production environment
- Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint ## Desired Skills
- Bachelors degree preferred
- 2-3 years of prior demand management and/or supply chain management
- Experience engaging with cross functional teams including technicians, manufacturing engineers, process engineers, quality, production leads, supply chain process owners, and program engineering
- Works well independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment
- Demonstrated experience communicating/briefing managers, employees, and customers to maintain a sustainable working relationship
- Strong analytical skills
Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range:
