A well-established manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Operations Manager to oversee daily plant operations and provide leadership across production, quality, safety, compliance, and employee development.

Manufacturing & Plant Operations Oversee daily manufacturing and plant operations to ensure safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency Monitor production performance and use KPIs to identify opportunities for improvement Ensure production and quality objectives are consistently achieved Address production, quality, personnel, safety, customer, and regulatory issues in a timely manner Ensure employees follow established policies, procedures, and operational standards Identify and address non-compliance promptly Assess current and future plant capabilities and develop strategies to support business needs Drive a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, safety, quality, and operational excellence Leadership & Employee Development Provide leadership and direction to plant personnel and management Promote employee engagement, training, development, and teamwork Foster an environment of open, honest, and effective communication Support employee relations, health and safety, training, development, compensation, and benefits initiatives Ensure job descriptions and performance reviews are maintained and completed appropriately Conduct regular staff meetings to maintain communication and alignment across the organization Lead by example and maintain a visible presence within the manufacturing operation Quality, Compliance & Customer Relations Ensure manufacturing operations comply with applicable company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements Support compliance with applicable GMP, FDA, OSHA, EPA, FSMA, and customer requirements Ensure products meet customer specifications and quality expectations Address customer-related production or quality concerns as needed Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders Participate in quality, production, project, and other organizational meetings Strategic Leadership Develop and execute plant-specific goals and objectives aligned with overall business priorities Communicate plant performance, challenges, and opportunities to senior leadership Identify opportunities to improve processes, productivity, quality, and overall plant performance Participate in continuing education and professional development to maintain and enhance job performance Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned Key Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent manufacturing leadership experience may be considered 10+ years of experience in manufacturing, preferably within a highly regulated or quality-focused industry Experience in a regulated, medical, or quality-driven manufacturing environment is preferred. 5+ years of experience in a significant manufacturing leadership or plant management role Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, production processes, and materials management Experience with GMP practices, process improvement, and continuous improvement initiatives Familiarity with FDA, OSHA, EPA, FSMA, or other applicable regulatory requirements preferred Strong business, analytical, and financial acumen Demonstrated ability to use KPIs and operational data to improve plant performance Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, presentation, and negotiation skills Ability to build effective relationships with employees, customers, and other stakeholders Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel Bachelor's degree in Business, Industrial Management, Engineering, Operations, or a related field preferred; equivalent manufacturing experience may be considered
