Idaho Timber is seeking a Plant Manager to lead our Henderson lumber remanufacturing facility. This position is responsible for the overall operation of the facility, including safety, production, maintenance, quality, staffing, and employee development. We're looking for a strong leader who can build a positive culture, develop employees, solve problems, and keep the operation running safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with leadership experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and a passion for helping people succeed. What You'll Do Provide overall leadership for the facility and set the tone for safety, accountability, and performance Lead and promote a strong safety culture utilizing Idaho Timber's established safety program Hire, train, and develop production employees and supervisors Build a culture of accountability, teamwork, and respect Work with maintenance personnel to ensure preventative maintenance is taking place and any equipment issues are promptly identified and addressed Identify and implement improvements that increase productivity and support long-term success Coordinate production, shipping, receiving, and inventory activities Manage quality control program and oversee lumber graders Ensure the facility meets environmental compliance requirements What We're Looking For Proven leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop people Strong safety mindset and commitment to safe work practices Mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot equipment and operational issues Effective communication and decision-making skills Strong work ethic and willingness to be actively involved in day-to-day operations Ability to build strong teams, hold employees accountable, and create a positive work environment Lumber, sawmill, remanufacturing, or wood products experience is preferred but not required Why Idaho Timber?
