•135k/year + 15% incentive bonus Job Summary The Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a sand and gravel plant. This includes safety, production, quality, maintenance, employees, budgeting, environmental compliance, and overall plant performance . The Plant Manager will lead the team, ensure production goals are met, maintain a safe and efficient operation, and work with management on budgets, cost control, and long-term site planning. Key Responsibilities Lead all safety, health, and environmental programs and ensure compliance with MSHA and other regulations. Manage daily plant production, quality, inventory, and product levels . Lead, train, and develop hourly and salaried employees. Plan and schedule plant production, maintenance, and training activities. Monitor operating costs, budgets, forecasts, and capital expenditures. Purchase or oversee the purchase of equipment, supplies, and services. Oversee plant equipment, property, and other company assets. Work with management on mine planning, material handling, resource recovery, and site reclamation . Identify opportunities to improve plant efficiency, production, housekeeping, and working conditions. Manage vendors, contractors, purchase orders, and other outside relationships. Work with local, state, and federal agencies to maintain compliance. Help maintain positive relationships with the surrounding community. Perform other duties as assigned.

Required / Preferred

Qualifications 5+ years of plant management experience , preferably in mining, aggregates, or a related industry. Dredge Operator experience is required. Strong knowledge of aggregate processing and equipment . Working knowledge of MSHA regulations and a strong commitment to workplace safety. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Mining or Civil, or equivalent experience . Experience managing employees, budgets, equipment, and production operations. Ability to understand basic financial reports and manage operating/capital budgets. Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Comfortable working with government agencies, vendors, employees, and management. Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English and perform basic math. Physical & Work Environment Primarily an outdoor position and requires working in heat, cold, rain, dust, and other weather conditions. Must be able to walk over rough or uneven terrain and inspect plant operations. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Must be able to climb ladders/stairs, kneel, crawl, and walk through the facility as needed. Must be comfortable working around noise levels up to 85 dB . May require driving for extended periods and occasional overnight travel. New Hire Training All new hires must attend in-person orientation and safety training at the company's corporate office in Dallas, Texas . This training is mandatory. Employees who travel more than 50 miles to the Dallas office will be eligible for reimbursement of mileage and approved travel expenses according to company policy.
