•110k/year + 10% incentive bonus Job Summary The Production Supervisor is responsible for assisting with overseeing the day-to-day operations of a sand and gravel facility , including safety, production, quality, maintenance, and employees. This person will lead the production team, make sure production goals are met, maintain a safe and efficient operation, and work with management on long-term mine and plant planning. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily plant production, quality, inventory, and product levels . Lead all safety, health, and environmental programs . Ensure compliance with MSHA, company, local, state, and federal regulations . Hire, train, lead, and develop hourly employees. Schedule and coordinate production, maintenance, and training activities. Assist with mine planning, material handling, resource recovery, and site reclamation . Identify ways to improve plant efficiency, production, housekeeping, and working conditions. Manage contracts, purchase orders, vendors, and outside services. Work with government agencies and community representatives as needed. Maintain a positive, safe, and productive work environment. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications 3+ years of plant management experience , preferably in mining, aggregates, or a similar industry. Dredge Operator experience is required. Strong knowledge of aggregate processing and equipment . Working knowledge of MSHA regulations and a strong commitment to safety. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Mining or Civil , or equivalent experience. Experience managing employees, equipment, and production operations. Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Comfortable working with government agencies, vendors, employees, and management. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English and perform basic math. Physical & Working Conditions This is primarily an outdoor position and requires working in heat, cold, rain, dust, and other weather conditions. Must be able to walk up to 200 yards over rough or uneven terrain . Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Must be able to climb ladders/stairs, kneel, crawl, and inspect equipment and facilities. Must be comfortable working around noise levels up to 85 dB . May require driving for extended periods and occasional overnight travel. New Hire Training All new employees must attend in-person orientation and safety training at the company's corporate office in Dallas, Texas . Employees whose commute to the Dallas office is more than 50 miles will receive reimbursement for eligible mileage and approved travel expenses.
