Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Cabinet Production Supervisor to lead our manufacturing team in creating high-quality cabinetry. This role is vital in ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining safety standards, and fostering a collaborative work environment. As a key leader on the shop floor, you will oversee daily operations, coordinate with team members, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to meet production goals with precision and excellence. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate all aspects of cabinet manufacturing operations on the production floor. Manage assembly line activities, ensuring smooth workflow and timely completion of orders. Lead and motivate production teams, managing staffing levels, training, and performance feedback. Ensure adherence to safety standards and protocols, promoting a safe working environment for all employees. Interpret technical drawings, manufacturing documents, and process specifications to guide assembly and quality control. Utilize measuring instruments and hand tools to verify dimensions and quality of cabinet components. Implement process improvements using lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Requirements Proven experience in factory or manufacturing facility supervision, preferably within cabinetry or woodworking industries. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using power tools, hand tools, and measuring instruments. Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings, production documents, and assembly instructions. Ability to operate forklifts and perform manual handling tasks safely. Knowledge of safety standards in production environments and commitment to safety protocol adherence. Experience managing production or assembly teams in a fast-paced setting. Skilled in process improvement methodologies such as lean manufacturing to optimize workflows. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to interpret manufacturing management data and implement solutions effectively.
