Job Summary:
The CC Mold Supervisor is a hands-on manufacturing leadership position with responsibility across gelcoat, lamination, welding, and detailing operations, while driving safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.
Required Qualifications:
3-5 years of proven leadership and supervisory experience within manufacturing or production environments. Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite applications such as Word and Excel. Demonstrated ability to manage production schedules and project timelines while providing accurate status updates and forecasts. Skilled in team leadership, employee development, performance management, and driving accountability. Experience implementing process improvements and managing operational change initiatives. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with a proactive approach to problem-solving and issue resolution. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage shifting priorities and resolve production-related challenges in fast-paced environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, quality, and productivity. Background in composites manufacturing or related industrial production environments. Familiarity with boat building, marine manufacturing, and tooling production processes. Bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate daily operations within the Mold Manufacturing shop to ensure productivity, efficiency, and quality standards are consistently achieved. Assign, prioritize, and monitor workloads for shop associates to ensure projects are completed on schedule and according to specifications. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment by enforcing housekeeping standards and safety procedures. Manage employee-related administrative tasks including timekeeping, attendance reporting, coaching, and team support. Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and workplace safety regulations across all shop activities. Work closely with Engineering, Project Management, and other departments to support production goals, meet project timelines, and ensure customer requirements are fulfilled.
