You've coordinated crews and subcontractors, managed schedules, dealt with customers, watched job costs, and kept multiple projects moving. Now you're looking for an opportunity where you're trusted to run the operation you're responsible for. Seaside Coatings is hiring an experienced Production Manager to take ownership of approximately $900,000 in annual residential and light commercial production

ABOUT SEASIDE COATINGS
Seaside Coatings is a locally owned Southwest Florida painting and coatings company led by Richard Fearing. We provide residential and commercial painting, epoxy flooring and related coating services throughout Bonita Springs, Fort Myers, Naples and surrounding Southwest Florida communities. Our reputation matters. We want a Production Manager who protects quality, communicates proactively, holds crews accountable, and creates a consistently strong customer experience.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Today, our production team includes a combination of W-2 painters and subcontractors, with approximately three subcontractor crews/resources typically active at any given time. That's where we're starting
  • not where we're stopping.
You'll have the opportunity to help define how Seaside manages its future production organization as the company grows. You'll have meaningful operational authority over scheduling, crews, subcontractors, job-site execution, quality, customer experience and production performance. For larger customer concessions and hiring or termination decisions, you'll make recommendations and work with Richard on final approval, particularly during your first six months. For routine production decisions, we're looking for someone capable of exercising sound judgment and taking ownership.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Production scheduling and capacity planning across multiple active jobs Employee and subcontractor crew management and accountability Job-site visits, inspections, field leadership and quality control Proactive customer communication and issue resolution Materials coordination, job costing and budget management Labor and production-efficiency tracking Change orders and appropriate upsell identification Job-site marketing execution Final walkthroughs, punch-list completion and project closeout Collection support when needed Recruiting, onboarding, training and development of production personnel Performance management and recommendations regarding hiring or termination Continuous improvement of production systems and processes
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Our ideal candidate has previous experience managing production or projects in painting, remodeling, restoration, construction, specialty trades, or another related field. Experience physically performing painting or coatings work is valuable but not required. You should understand how to manage people, customers, schedules, budgets and job sites, recognize risks before they become expensive problems, and hold both employees and subcontractors accountable. Strong candidates will be comfortable having difficult conversations respectfully, developing people, making decisions, and being measured on results.
COMPENSATION & PERFORMANCE BONUS
Base salary: $65,000
  • 75,000, based on experience.
Annual performance bonus:
up to 10% of base salary.
Potential total compensation:
up to $71,500
  • 82,500.
Performance will be evaluated around areas the Production Manager can directly influence: Production efficiency and schedule performance Quality and customer satisfaction Upsells and incremental revenue Completion of required job-site marketing activities The goal is straightforward: when production performs better because of your leadership, you should benefit too.

days of PTO annually PTO eligibility after the 90-day probationary period; accrues per weekly pay period based on an 8-hour workday and is credited retroactively to the start date Paid major holidays: New Year's Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day Company-paid phone and service plan Mileage reimbursement while using a personal vehicle during the initial 90-day period Company-wrapped vehicle and fuel card following successful completion of the 90-day probationary period
SCHEDULE & TRAVEL
The normal schedule is approximately 8:00 AM-4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends when project needs require it. The position is based around Bonita Springs, between Fort Myers and Naples. Projects are located throughout Southwest Florida, and occasional travel of up to approximately two hours may be required. A valid driver's license, reliable transportation during the initial 90 days, and a satisfactory driving record are required.
