Role:
At the start of the shift, using the bottling production plan, develop and communicate a bottling strategy for the shift as well as a blending plan, assigning duties and schedule through Team Leaders. Continuously monitor bottling and blending progress to plan, identify constraints and agree to action plans through Team Leaders and support functions. Regularly throughout each day communicate with Receiving, Maintenance, Planning and QA to align corrective action, strategies and corrective actions. Develop Team Members, building competent and motivated teams to meet department objectives. Lead continuous improvement initiatives in both bottling and blending. Maintains up-to-date process documentation. Regularly participates in developing and reviewing SOPs, including participation in daily SOP training in the pre-shift stand up meetings. Performs daily review and approval of the employee time and attendance system. Leads process improvement efforts for the production operation and other related processes. Maintain safety and quality related training of all team members up to date and document. Identify additional training requirements and arrange for training. Ensures that employees follow all company policies and procedures, including GMPs, and all Safety and Quality requirements. Maintain GMP and sanitation standards in areas of accountability. Follows all company policies and procedures regarding GMPs, SOPs and Quality standards. Other duties as assigned or required.Supervisory Responsibilities:
Directly leads employees in the Production Department. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, terminating, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Experience and keyQualifications:
