Job Description

We are looking for a Kiln Instructor to join our team in Newberry, FL . As a Kiln Instructor with Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials. This position's prime objective is to systematically Train, Guide & Coach an effective Control Room Operator (CRO) team - which can meet key production targets, achieves operational reliability and performance, and maintains kiln stability with consistent quality. Role Responsibilities:
Promotes Kiln operational safety thro' coaching & systems improvement Sound knowledge of practical Kiln operation techniques Owner of certification, training & professional development of CRO's Develop, Create & Manage SOP's for the production department Effectively communicate operational expectations to CRO's on daily basis and ensure that daily kiln operational targets (environmental, quality, and production) are met through effective coaching Manage and optimize Pavilion expert control system Provide technical leadership to the control room by interacting with process engineers and implementing technical ideas with control room operators Ensure all operators use identical operating techniques and have a clear understanding of set points, operating parameters, procedures etc., Ensure best practices are followed and create new ones as required Manage training related activities Safely conduct field inspection of PH / Kiln / Cooler weekly basis. Prepare operational reports as required
