Job Description

We are looking for a Production Supervisor in Alachua County, FL to provide technical production support in a manufacturing supervisor role. The Production Supervisor will have the following responsibilities: Working hours: 2nd shift, 11:00 a.m.- 7:30 p.m. AM Monday-Friday, overtime on some Saturdays. Working hours may vary based on the needs of the company.
Pay:
Dependant on experience Work closely and communicate effectively with the Production Manager on a day-to-day basis Ensure effective production personnel relations, provide Leads and assemblers with coaching and development. Resolve employee issues through problem resolution. Ensure efficient and effective manufacturing production in accordance with the production schedule and all Inspired Energy safety and quality policies. Balance quality, productivity, safety, morale and cost to achieve optimal Production results in all areas. Conduct and document all Production training documentation, methods and forms. Work with the production managers to interview, onboard, and train new operators. Write and help conduct annual Production employee reviews Coordinate and communicate information between Production, Sales, and Engineering in a proficient manner. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, inventory management software. Experience with Quality Control / Quality Assurance methods. Experience reading Safety Data Sheets, with the ability to disseminate appropriate information according to OSHA guidelines. Skills:
3-5 Years of Manufacturing Experience. Strong organizational skills and willingness to work within a diverse workforce. Experience in component level electronic manufacturing and repair. Experience in the use of production equipment including soldering iron, spot welder and ultrasonic welder. Ability to read Electronic Schematics, Mechanical Drawings and interpret product parts lists. Experience working in a Team Environment with the willingness to learn Employee involvement in team management concepts. Preferred Experience /
Skills:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Electronics, Bio-Medical, or Engineering. This is a drug free workplace. All applicants must be willing to submit to a drug test and background check.
