Position:

Wood Shop Manager Lead and manage production team in the wood shop Oversee daily shop operations Ensure projects meet quality, craftsmanship, and efficiency standards Manage and support skilled production staff Act as a hands-on leader with strong woodworking expertise Duties & Responsibilities Plan, schedule, and coordinate production to meet deadlines Optimize workflow to improve efficiency and reduce waste Operate CNC machinery Coordinate between shop and field teams to maintain quality Monitor inventory of raw materials and finished goods Work with purchasing to ensure adequate supplies Troubleshoot production issues and implement solutions Operate a forklift Supervise, train, and mentor staff Provide performance feedback and leadership Promote teamwork and a positive work environment Delegate tasks and ensure accountability Enforce safety regulations Qualifications 5+ years experience in millwork or woodworking At least 2 years in a supervisory/management role Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, machinery, and materials Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings Proven leadership and team management skills Strong communication skills (internal & external) Excellent organizational and time management skills Problem-solving ability in production environments Fluent in English; basic Spanish preferred

Pay:

$55,000.00 - $65,614.06 per year
