Job Description
- Performs work as assigned by supervisor/manager.
- Instructs and trains Associates new to the department.
- Monitors materials within the department.
- Assists in work assignments and the associated paper work.
- In the absence of the supervisor, fills in on a limited basis to maintain production, efficiency, quality and discipline.
- Contributes to team effort by focusing on achieving results that are linked to company goals and objectives.
- Maintains proper housekeeping.
- Knows and observes safety regulations and precautions.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Capable of performing the work in the area at a high level.
- Able to read tape measure, perform calculations, write legibly, read and interpret specifications and assembly schematics.
- Presents a positive model for Performance Management criteria as defined by KWE.
- Working knowledge of contemporary manufacturing/distribution processes.
- Must display sound judgment and appropriate leadership skills.
- Working knowledge of IT solutions: SAP - basic fundamentals in part transactions, inventory, processes, scheduling.
