Lead and supervise hourly manufacturing employees to achieve daily production, quality, safety, and efficiency targets. Drive Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives, including 5S activities, waste reduction, process improvements, and cost-saving projects. Ensure employees receive proper training, work instructions, and tools required to perform their jobs safely and efficiently. Promote a strong safety culture through regular safety meetings, ergonomic assessments, near-miss reporting, and corrective action implementation. Monitor production schedules and workflow, troubleshoot operational issues, and ensure products meet established quality standards. Collaborate with Supply Management, Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Human Resources to support production goals and resolve operational challenges. Track employee and team performance, provide coaching and feedback, and administer corrective actions when necessary. Foster a positive and engaged work environment through effective communication, employee recognition, and team development. Support workforce planning and production demands, including flexibility to work across shifts as business needs require. Ensure compliance with company policies, union agreements, work rules, and manufacturing best practices.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Experience supporting manufacturing, production, warehouse, or shop floor operations. Demonstrated leadership and team management experience. Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to work cross-functionally with various departments to achieve operational objectives. Flexibility to support multiple shifts based on production requirements.
