Job Description
Overview Industrial Packaging is seeking a Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift to lead daily operations at our Whitestown, IN facility. This role is responsible for driving safety, quality, efficiency, and labor performance in a fast-paced, high-volume packaging environment. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can develop teams, hold accountability, and deliver operational results while supporting a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced production environment requiring time on the floor, problem-solving in real time, and the ability to lead through change as the facility grows. Key Responsibilities Drive performance against key KPIs including Efficiency, Labor Ratio, OEE, and Throughput Lead shift execution to meet production plans and customer service requirements Identify and resolve downtime drivers and process inefficiencies Partner with Maintenance, Quality, and Warehouse to ensure seamless operations Support startup and scaling of operations in a growth-focused facility environment Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and operational standards Lead, coach, and develop production employees Manage scheduling, staffing, and workflow Create an accountable, safe and collaborative culture Empower the team to have a voice for ideation and collaboration Support continuous improvement initiatives Qualifications 3+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing Strong leadership and communication skills Experience in packaging or industrial environments preferred Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting Knowledge of safety and quality standards Experience managing high-speed production lines preferred Demonstrated ability to drive performance metrics and accountability Experience in food, beverage, or consumer packaged goods manufacturing strongly preferred Salary commensurate with skills and experience.
