As a Manufacturing Production Supervisor
  • 1st Shift, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes.
You will have the opportunity to lead a team of dedicated manufacturing personnel, drive process improvements, and contribute to the overall success of our organization. You will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and execution of the production flow in a fast-paced manufacturing plant. Directly supervise 30-40 employees; this includes hiring, training, and annual evaluations.
Duties:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of manufacturing personnel Ensure production goals are met and quality standards are maintained Monitor production processes and make adjustments as needed Train and develop manufacturing staff to improve performance and efficiency Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures Collaborate with other departments to optimize production workflow Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions Maintain accurate production records and reports
Requirements:
BS in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering or Engineering Technology with 10 years' experience preferred. Supervisory experience, 5-10 years preferred. Ability to respond to and prioritize manufacturing operation issues as they arise. Ability to effectively meet and communicate with employees, the public and vendors. Daily contact requires courtesy, discretion, and sound judgment. Advanced PC skills using Microsoft Office software, and strong presentation skills. Good written communication skills and effective organizational skills. The ideal candidate must have strong leadership skills that will foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork and cooperation to meet organizational goals. It is also important to have a strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles as well as a working knowledge and understanding of HVAC, brazing, charging, electrical mechanical assembly, and testing.
