Job Description
$25-$30/hr | Manufacturing Leadership + Forklift Experience Required WorkForce Unlimited is hiring an experienced Production Supervisor to support the Finished Goods department within a large, fast-paced manufacturing operation. This department is responsible for the final stages of production, helping ensure completed product meets established quality, packaging, inventory, and handling requirements before it is released for distribution and consumer use. We are seeking a hands-on, floor-focused manufacturing leader with experience overseeing multiple production areas and employees. The ideal candidate combines strong manufacturing leadership with recent, hands-on forklift experience and is comfortable coaching employees on safe equipment operation.

Full-Time | Long-Term | Benefits Available What You'll Lead Oversee daily operations across multiple production areas and employees. Coordinate staffing, workflow, and priorities to meet production and quality expectations. Maintain a strong, visible leadership presence on the manufacturing floor. Serve as a primary point of contact for employees, providing direction, support, and problem resolution. Ensure employees follow established job procedures, safety requirements, quality standards, and equipment operating practices. Coach employees and reinforce safe forklift/PIT operation and material-handling practices. Monitor employee performance and provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and accountability. Conduct 30-, 60-, and 90-day employee reviews and annual performance evaluations. Communicate production needs, staffing concerns, quality issues, and operational updates with site management. Operate forklifts/material-handling equipment when needed to support production, cover staffing gaps, or complete operational tasks. Use computers, scanners, and digital systems for inventory tracking and operational documentation. Troubleshoot day-to-day production and employee issues and make timely decisions in a fast-paced environment. Maintain product traceability and accurate records throughout final processing and finished-goods handling. Identify, isolate, and promptly escalate damaged, incomplete, mislabeled, or nonconforming product so issues are corrected before release. Coordinate the staging and movement of completed product to maintain workflow and prevent production or shipping delays. Monitor finished-goods inventory and scanner transactions to support accurate product tracking, movement, and reconciliation. Ensure packaging, labeling, product identification, counts, and documentation are completed accurately according to established procedures. Verify final product meets established quality and completion requirements before it moves to the next stage of the supply chain. Oversee finished-goods activities to ensure completed product is properly processed, handled, and prepared for release or distribution. What We're Looking For Direct manufacturing supervisory experience and hands-on forklift operating experience are important for success in this position. 3+ years of Production, Manufacturing, or Operations Supervisory experience. 5+ years of manufacturing experience. Experience overseeing multiple employees, production areas, departments, or operational functions. 3+ years of forklift/PIT operating experience. Recent hands-on forklift experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environment. Strong understanding of OSHA-aligned forklift/PIT safety practices. Comfortable coaching and training employees on safe forklift operation. Ability and willingness to personally operate a forklift when production or staffing needs require it. Strong employee leadership, coaching, and performance-management skills. Understanding of safety, quality, productivity, and procedural compliance. Comfortable using computers, scanners, and digital inventory/production systems. Strong communication, organization, time-management, and problem-solving skills. Detail-oriented and able to make decisions under pressure. Reliable, accountable, and willing to work required overtime and weekends based on production needs. Experience supporting finished goods, final production, packaging, inventory control, product staging, or distribution-readiness processes is strongly preferred.
