Job Overview C&J Equipment Manufacturing is seeking two experienced Production Managers to lead manufacturing operations during our night and weekend shifts.

Friday-Sunday The Production Manager will be the senior production leader on the assigned shift, responsible for overseeing all production departments, supervisors, employees, and manufacturing processes. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who can drive accountability, solve problems quickly, and ensure production goals are met safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Direct all production activities during the assigned shift Lead, develop, and hold production supervisors accountable for performance Ensure production schedules, quality standards, and delivery commitments are met Monitor output, labor efficiency, downtime, rework, and other performance metrics Identify and resolve production constraints, staffing issues, and process breakdowns Coordinate with Quality, Safety, Maintenance, Materials, and other departments Maintain a strong presence on the production floor and address issues in real time Ensure consistent enforcement of company policies, procedures, and performance expectations Promote a culture of safety, quality, urgency, teamwork, and continuous improvement Provide clear shift updates and escalate significant operational concerns to executive leadership Qualifications Significant manufacturing or production leadership experience Experience managing multiple supervisors, departments, and production processes Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Demonstrated ability to improve productivity and hold teams accountable Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, growing organization Welding, fabrication, heavy-equipment, or industrial manufacturing experience strongly preferred Must be available to work the full night-shift or weekend-shift schedule This position is ideal for an experienced manufacturing leader who is comfortable taking ownership of an entire shift and has the ability to build strong supervisors, improve processes, and consistently deliver results.
