The Provisioning Supervision involves Setting up and managing the flow of production teams for "provisioning" Customer provided devices (Tech)
- this entails transitioning devices into demo Status for retail applications.
Provisioning duties include, but are not limited to, working with various electronics (often customer Provided), following customer directives for upload of demo information, labeling and tracking serial numbers and being accountable for inventory provided by customer. Once provisioned, the Production Supervisor for Tech will work to have items packed appropriately and prepped for shipment, QC'd and reported against to the Customer and wider OnQ team. The role demands a punctual, organized mindset with excellent communications skills with both their immediate team and the wider OnQ and Client teams. They will be called upon to conduct QC functions, train team members in steps and perform inventory management on various products and supplies. Trouble shooting and problem solving will be a key attribute in this role, with an ability to pivot and plan quickly as demands of the project evolve. The Production Supervisor
- Tech will be relied upon to work closely with the project management teams to ensure production timelines are met and shipping schedules meet delivery deadlines.
Key Responsibilities 1.
Supervision and Leadership:
Provide leadership in the form of guidance, training and support to other provisioning associates and temporary associates. Work with HR to ensure enough temporary associates and security (where applicable) are on hand daily to meet demands for production. Daily liaison with provisioning team on what is coming down the "pipeline" work on scheduling and allocating tasks to ensure balanced workloads and timely completion of orders. 2.
Provisioning:
Work with Tech Colleagues on Provisioning steps for each project and components to ensure full understanding of the response of the Device and stated outcome. Train immediate team in steps and provide visual aids to be shared with the wider provisioning team (temporary associates). Ensure all handling of devices is according to customer specifications. Fully understand the wider demands of customers in terms of safety, security and confidentiality of both the devices and the information provided. Direct permanent and temporary associates on how tasks must be performed.
Review return and rework procedures to ensure these are handled in a timely manner and with consistency. 3.
Scheduling:
Provide and maintain accurate records of daily production to ensure timely execution of projects. Coordinate with Project Managers and the Shipping team to ensure projects meet shipping deadlines. Update Tracking documents for wider Project team to ensure all relevant members have visibility of what is ready, shipped or pending daily. Utilize Smartsheet for requests and project tracking. Manage and validate changes to the technical project scope, project schedule and project costs along the project lifecycle
- add this as a task at end of each day so during review costs can be captured.
4. Quality Control Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure all provisioning deliverables meet company standards and client stated standards. Train team members on quality control practices and the importance of accuracy. Conduct random checks on orders to ensure accuracy and quality. Implement changes where necessary to ensure errors are corrected and not repeated. Train and retrain the team. Liaise with Project/Tech team on "unexpected" results so client team can review and address "fix"
- share any learnings within the group so learning continues beyond this specific project.
Schedule, document and action, any "rework" that might be necessary Identify, report and escalate project issues/risks to management as needed Oversee and ensure testing of technical experiences/changes 5.
Process Improvement:
Analyze departmental processes and identify areas for improvement. Develop, implement and document strategies to increase efficiency, reduce errors, and streamline operations. Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall provisioning operations and to find ways to merge the provisioning and production rolls efficiently where required. 6.
Communication:
Communicate provisioning activities, including volumes, delivery times, and deliverables to Project Team and wider production team so resources can be shared/pooled where practical. Share QC needs with QC Supervisor so they can schedule appropriate support
- provide them with QC demands/documentation for each project Communicate effectively with the provisioning team and other stakeholders regarding operational updates, issues, and improvements. Work with HR on the personnel demands for each project

Work in collaboration with Head of Fulfillment on scheduling, results, client demands etc. Provide a weekly recap and review proposal for change or adaptation to improve efficiency. The role will require providing quotes and time studies across all types of provisioning projects and create a "quote estimator" for quick reference demands from Sales Team. As many of these operations are repeated/repeatable this will ensure the process of quoting will be more accurate and timelier.
Required Education, Experience & Skills Education, Certifications and Experience:
Technical education / college preferred. Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Supervisory/leadership role preferred

- Experience installing and configuring devices and applications Experience working with different operating systems including Windows, Mac OS, iOS, Android, BrightSign preferred.
Network experience with WAN, LAN and cellular experience preferred Working knowledge of QA and QC practices common to product manufacturing Skills Strong knowledge of Audio/Video electronics, ability to troubleshoot connectivity issues. Basic knowledge of manufacturing methods particular to plastics, woodworking and machined & fabricated metal processes Proficient in Microsoft Excel-handling data sets, data entry, review and report against data. Proficient in presentation of information
