Role Summary A prominent automotive manufacturing firm is currently looking for a seasoned Press Room Supervisor to become a key member of their onsite leadership group. You will be responsible for managing shift personnel to guarantee that assemblies are manufactured safely, effectively, and on time. We are looking for a candidate who possesses a solid history of manufacturing leadership, specifically within stamping or press room settings, and who demonstrates a dedication to high-level operational performance. Primary Duties Direct, organize, and delegate tasks to production staff within the press area. Verify that components meet quality standards by overseeing necessary equipment configurations and modifications. Propose process enhancements to boost overall output, machine efficiency, and product excellence. Manage the onboarding of new staff, facilitate training sessions, evaluate performance, and oversee attendance records. Ensure the team adheres to safety protocols, company handbooks, and policies while keeping accurate logs of production and time. Facilitate accident reviews and collaborate with the Tooling, Maintenance, and Quality teams to help resolve production floor challenges. Essential Requirements Between 3 and 5 years of experience leading teams in heavy manufacturing, press room, or metal stamping facilities. Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with a proven capacity to guide, inspire, and maintain team accountability. Proficiency in interpreting quality standards, operating manuals, and production timelines. Strong analytical skills to help resolve operational problems effectively. Deep knowledge of OSHA regulations and general workplace safety standards. Physical capability to remain standing or walking for long shifts and the ability to lift 25 pounds. Required Proficiencies Equipment Troubleshooting OSHA 10-Hour Certification (OSHA 10) Quality Control Experience Metal Stamping & Forming (Progressive Die) Technology and Equipment Stamping Press Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) (Allen Bradley)
