Job Title:
Night Shift Production Supervisor Schedule:
12-Hour Night Shift | 3 or 4
Day Schedule Position Summary:
The Night Shift Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations during assigned shifts in a fast-paced production environment. This role ensures production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently met while effectively managing and supporting a team of 30-40 employees. The supervisor will coordinate workflow, monitor performance, and communicate operational updates to ensure efficient production processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead a team of approximately 30-40 production employees during a 12-hour night shift. Ensure production schedules and output targets are achieved while maintaining established quality standards. Monitor daily operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and address issues impacting productivity or efficiency. Communicate expectations, performance feedback, and operational updates clearly to team members and management. Promote and enforce workplace safety policies and procedures. Coordinate staffing, workflow, and task assignments to optimize production efficiency. Track and report production metrics using Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools. Utilize Microsoft Word and Outlook for documentation, communication, and reporting. Collaborate with quality, maintenance, and management teams to resolve production issues. Support continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
Qualifications:
Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment required. Ability to effectively manage and motivate a team in a high-volume production setting. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Ability to work a 12-hour night shift on a 3/4 day weekly schedule. Textile or weaving experience is a plus but not required.
Work Environment:
Fast-paced manufacturing facility. Requires extended periods of standing, walking, and monitoring production areas. Will involve exposure to manufacturing noise and equipment.
Pay:
$50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
