Pumper / Yard Supervisor Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pumper / Yard Supervisor to oversee the safe and efficient operation of vacuum trucks and manage yard activities. This role involves offloading materials, handling waste management paperwork, and ensuring compliance with environmental and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have outdoor work experience, mechanical knowledge, and strong communication skills to coordinate workflow effectively while working outdoors for extended periods. Responsibilities Offload vacuum trucks safely and efficiently, ensuring proper handling of recyclable materials and waste. Manage paperwork related to waste manifests, tank gauging, and fluid level tracking to ensure accurate documentation and regulatory compliance. Operate heavy equipment with precision, adhering strictly to safety protocols at all times. Maintain awareness of environmental regulations and ensure all activities are compliant with environmental standards. Monitor tank gauges regularly to track fluid levels and report any irregularities promptly. Supervise yard operations, handle work flow demands, and coordinate tasks among team members. Work outdoors for extended hours in various weather conditions, demonstrating resilience and safety consciousness. Communicate effectively in English with team members, clients, and regulatory personnel to ensure smooth operations. Experience Proven outdoor work experience, preferably in roles involving heavy equipment operation or waste management. Knowledge of mechanical systems related to vacuum trucks or similar equipment is highly desirable. Familiarity with safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and hazardous materials handling. Experience in managing paperwork such as waste manifests and understanding environmental compliance standards. Strong communication skills in English to facilitate clear coordination within the team and with external parties.
