This role is for a confident leader who knows how to drive crews, command a job site, and deliver quality work safely, on schedule, and on budget. What You'll Do Take full command of sheet metal field operations on commercial and industrial projects Lead, motivate, and hold crews accountable for productivity, quality, and safety Plan and execute daily job-site activities to keep projects moving forward Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications without hesitation Coordinate directly with project managers, engineers, and other trades to solve problems and eliminate delays Enforce company standards, local codes, and safety regulations — no shortcuts Track labor, materials, and progress to protect schedules and profitability Conduct job-site inspections and quality control checks Represent the company confidently in pre‑construction and weekly coordination meetings Train and develop field talent; build strong, reliable crews Maintain accurate daily reports, time tracking, and progress documentation Who We're Looking For 10-15 years of hands‑on sheet metal experience , with 5+ years running crews or jobs Deep understanding of HVAC systems, ductwork, and fabrication Strong leadership presence — respected by crews and trusted by management Ability to run multiple crews or complex jobs without hand‑holding Solid communicator and decisive problem‑solver Experience working with schedules, manpower planning, and production tracking OSHA 30 certification preferred Forklift and aerial lift certifications preferred Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Why D&D Mechanical Leadership role with real authority in the field Stable company with consistent work and strong project pipelines Opportunity to leave your mark by building crews and running jobs your way Work with professionals who value experience, accountability, and performance Apply today to join a team where your sheet metal supervisory expertise can make a real impact.
