August 10, 2026 Full-Time Locations Showing 1 location Blaine Blaine, WA 98230, USA Job Details Description Reporting to the Pink shift Supervisors, the Production Shift Lead supports the planning, scheduling, coordination, and oversight of production and packaging activities during the assigned shift. This role collaborates with both internal and external customers and provides hands-on support on the production floor as needed, serving as an active and engaged member of the team. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Assisting with supervising and coordinating production on shift to execute NP's core operating processes, including the GMP's, SOP's, supply management, TQM and LEAN, to ensure quality product, best value for customers, and efficiencies and cost structures that optimize profitability. In the absence of the production supervisor, ensures efficient production continues as master schedule dictates. Assisting to review and discuss the production board, ensuring production for a shift is on schedule and within budget and making changes as needed to attain production goals. Working with the Production Supervisor to coordinate preventative maintenance to optimize performance of equipment and facilities. Ensuring that lean practices are being incorporated and continuously used to maximize efficiencies. Working with the supervisor to monitor the quality of product. Coaching and mentoring production crew members and assisting with performance management. Conducting safety walk through and first aid training. Checking all CPCs of processes and finished goods. Conducting audits at mid-shift, end-of shift and as needed. Recording relevant data on computer as needed. Completing special projects as assigned by manager.
Requirements:
3+ years of production experience required; food processing preferred Working knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Strong mathematical and computer skills required; must be detail-oriented Experience using man lifts and boom trucks required; sit-down forklift is desirable Proven team-focused attitude; experience with LEAN processing & teams desirable Strong safety awareness; basic understanding of OSHA as it relates to manufacturing Proven troubleshooting and multitasking abilities Ability to organize and prioritize effectively in a change environment. Comfortable with a potentially stressful environment. Ability to learn people management and ability to learn skills to deal with employee development and conflict resolution. The ability to communicate and understand verbal directions effectively and efficiently in English, both verbal and written
Education:
High school diploma
Wage:
 $30.70/Hour + $1.50/hr shift differential between 6PM - 6:00
AM Shift:
Pink Rotation 6 AM - 6:30 PM Qualifications Education Required High School Diploma or better.
