ASSA ABLOY
brand company. This is a full-time, on-site, non-exempt position based out of our manufacturing facility located in Ceres, California. You will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of hollow metal door and frame jobs. You'll provide technical and problem-solving support to Customer Service, Manufacturing, and Project Management teams by interpreting hardware templates and customer specifications, verifying compatibility with our manufacturing standards.
You would also:
Process customer orders efficiently and accurately, including specialty orders. Create precise manufacturing drawings based on order forms, emails, architect plans, specifications, and other documentation. Review and check shop drawings for accuracy, manufacturability, and compliance with specifications. Proactively identify and resolve potential manufacturing or installation issues. Customize existing product designs to meet unique customer needs while adhering to industry standards. Develop layouts, details, and required materials for manufacturing and installation. Accurately determine custom product components required for manufacturing drawings. Provide technical support to both internal teams and customers. Ensure prompt and effective resolution of customer concerns. Collaborate with customers to understand needs and recommend appropriate product solutions. Utilize document and data management systems efficiently. Support other departments with drawing modifications or updates. Assist with training and provide guidance to internal and external stakeholders as needed. Continually promote a safe and harmonious working environment, demonstrating strict adherence to the

What we are looking for:
High School Diploma or GED required Must complete a mechanical aptitude test (provided by HR) Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex procedures Familiarity with Visual CADD and/or AutoCAD programs Strong math skills, including algebra, geometry, fractions, and metric conversion Experience interpreting architectural blueprints and specifications is preferred Prior exposure to architectural hardware or building products is a plus Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills Team-oriented with a strong customer service mindset Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word Ability to read hardware schedules, architectural drawings, and floor plans Commitment to compliance, safety, and ethical conduct What we offer!
