Broadridge is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Console Operator to join our Physical Security Department and support onsite security operations at our El Dorado Hills facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of personnel, property, and assets through diligent monitoring and response activities. The work hours will be the overnight shift, 11:30 PM - 8:00 AM PT. Responsibilities Monitor and operate the Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) system, event alarms, and access control systems to ensure continuous security coverage. Maintain and update security records, including key control, ID/access badge issuance, electronic inventory logs, and the historical logbook. Oversee and regulate personnel access into the facility to safeguard restricted and sensitive areas. Conduct fire safety inspections and other routine facility checks as directed. Perform initial investigations of incidents and notify appropriate authorities of any procedural or policy breaches. Support the protection of assets and personnel by maintaining situational awareness and reporting any irregularities or security concerns promptly. Execute additional duties as assigned by Site Security Management or Facility Leadership Qualifications Proficiency with computers, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook). Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with Security, Facilities, and other departmental teams. Keen observation skills and a vigilant, proactive approach to identifying and reporting potential security issues. Prior security or control room experience preferred but not required. Salary rate is $18.00 hourly, plus a 10% shift differential.
