Full Job Description Position Title:
Sign Production Specialist & Machine Operator We are seeking an experienced Sign Production Specialist with strong hands-on expertise in operating and maintaining advanced digital printing, routing, and laser equipment. This role focuses heavily on operating high-precision machines, substrate preparation, vinyl application, and quality control.
Primary Machine Operations Canon Arizona Flatbed:
Set up and run direct-to-substrate UV-curable printing on rigid and flexible media.
Direct Color Systems UV LED Printer:
Output high-resolution images, textures, and ADA-compliant Braille.
Vision CNC Router:
Perform precision routing and fine-detail engraving.
Boss Laser Cutter/Engraver:
Setup and operate laser bed work surfaces (grid/blade) for cutting and detail work.
Laminator:
Execute encapsulation, over-laminating, and print mounting. Perform routine machine maintenance, calibration, and minor repairs. Production & Finishing Responsibilities Read work orders accurately to prepare substrates (cutting, cleaning, painting) and execute vinyl/graphic placement. Apply, weed, mount, and laminate full-color computer-generated graphics and vinyl. Perform strict pre- and post-production quality assurance and proofing to maintain high shop standards. Monitor shop inventory and manage raw material stock levels Maintain a clean, organized work environment and assist team members/customers at the front counter when needed. Physical & Job Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work with light power tools. Strong manual dexterity for precise vinyl application and table work. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under deadline pressure. Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset.
Pay:
From $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
