Manufacturing, CNC Machining, Quality Assurance, Purchasing & Administration About the Position Ace Technical Plastics is seeking a motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Inventory Assurance & Manufacturing Associate. This position supports our daily manufacturing operations through inventory management, shipping and receiving, product identification and traceability, customer kitting, and general production support. Responsibilities also include routine cleaning, trash removal, and general workplace organization to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable working with computers, attentive to detail, and willing to learn new skills. Previous manufacturing experience is beneficial but not required. This position offers more than traditional shipping, receiving, and inventory responsibilities. Employees have the opportunity to develop additional skills through hands-on training and potentially advance into one of two career pathways : Manufacturing & Technical Operations or General & Administrative Operations. We are looking for someone interested in becoming a valuable member of our team while developing skills that can lead to greater responsibilities within the company. Primary Responsibilities 1. Shipping, Receiving & Inventory Management Perform daily shipping and receiving duties for incoming materials and outgoing customer shipments. Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and applicable receiving documentation. Accurately record inventory transactions, lot/batch numbers, quantities, and other critical traceability information within our ERP/MRP system. Identify, label, and allocate incoming and manufactured products to their designated inventory storage locations. Maintain accurate inventory records, including product identification, quantities, and storage locations. Ensure inventory and storage areas remain clean, organized, and efficient. Prepare outgoing shipments using UPS, FedEx, and other applicable shipping services. Assist with inventory counts, stock verification, and inventory reconciliation. Identify and report inventory discrepancies or damaged materials. 2. Quality Assurance & Product Traceability Verify incoming materials and manufactured products against applicable documentation and purchase order requirements. Maintain accurate records to support product identification and traceability. Receive training in incoming product inspection, including the use of precision measuring instruments and basic quality assurance procedures. Identify and report discrepancies, damaged materials, or potentially nonconforming products. Follow established quality procedures and work instructions in accordance with our AS9100D and
ISO 9001
2015 quality management system. Assist with maintaining accurate inspection and receiving documentation as assigned. 3. Kitting & Production Support Perform inventory-related work orders, including assembling and packaging customer-specific kits. Verify component quantities, part numbers, and product identification to ensure accurate kit assembly. Prepare and package finished products in accordance with customer requirements. Maintain proper product identification and traceability throughout kitting and packaging operations. Assist with secondary manufacturing operations, including plastic part deburring, trimming, washing, and finishing. Support general production activities and other operational duties as needed. 4. Workplace Organization, Cleaning & General Maintenance Maintaining a clean and organized workplace is an essential responsibility of this position. Perform routine cleaning and housekeeping duties throughout designated production, inventory, and common work areas. Empty trash receptacles, remove waste materials, and dispose of trash in designated collection areas. Sweep floors, clean workstations, and maintain orderly production and storage areas. Remove packaging materials, scrap, and other debris generated during daily operations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of shipping, receiving, and inventory storage areas. Assist with general facility cleaning and housekeeping activities as assigned. Identify and report unsafe conditions, maintenance concerns, or other workplace hazards. Support company housekeeping and workplace organization standards to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient manufacturing environment. Pathway 1: Manufacturing & Technical OperationsHands-on technical development This pathway is designed for employees interested in developing mechanical aptitude, manufacturing knowledge, and technical skills through hands-on experience and on-the-job training. Manufacturing & Machine Operation Operation of vacuum thermoforming machinery and associated plastic processing equipment. Operation of die cutting equipment and secondary manufacturing machinery. Machine setup, material preparation, and production processes. Understanding manufacturing work orders, production documentation, and quality requirements. Performing finishing operations, including deburring, trimming, part cleaning, and assembly. Developing an understanding of production efficiency, equipment operation, and manufacturing safety. Quality Assurance & Inspection Training in precision measurement and the use of metrology equipment. Interpretation of engineering drawings and dimensional requirements. Performing incoming, in-process, and final product inspections. Understanding product traceability, documentation, and quality control procedures. Developing familiarity with AS9100D and

2015 quality management requirements. Advanced Technical Development
- CNC Machining Employees demonstrating strong mechanical aptitude, technical proficiency, and an interest in advanced manufacturing may be considered for additional training in: CNC milling and turning equipment.
CNC machine setup and operation. Cutting tools, machining processes, and material properties. Interpretation of technical drawings and machining specifications. CNC programming and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM), where appropriate. Pathway 2 : General & Administrative Operations, Business and operational development This pathway is designed for employees demonstrating strong organizational, communication, analytical, and computer skills who are interested in supporting the administrative and commercial functions of our business. Customer Order Processing & Administration Customer order entry, processing, and management. Reviewing purchase orders and maintaining accurate customer order records. Coordinating order acknowledgments, delivery schedules, and customer communications. Maintaining accurate records within our ERP/MRP system. Supporting customer service and general office administration. Purchasing & Procurement Preparing and processing purchase orders for raw materials, supplies, and outside services. Communicating with suppliers regarding pricing, availability, and delivery schedules. Supporting purchasing decisions through inventory monitoring and material requirements planning. Tracking open purchase orders and coordinating incoming material deliveries. Maintaining supplier records and purchasing documentation. Production Planning & Inventory Control Supporting production scheduling and manufacturing work order coordination. Monitoring inventory levels and identifying material replenishment requirements. Assisting with material planning and inventory optimization. Coordinating between purchasing, production, and shipping to support customer delivery requirements. Developing familiarity with manufacturing ERP/MRP systems and production management processes. Additional Administrative Development Depending on demonstrated proficiency and business needs, employees may have opportunities to assume additional responsibilities in sales administration, customer account coordination, purchasing, inventory management, and other general business operations. Preferred Experience Previous experience in shipping, receiving, inventory management, warehousing, or manufacturing. Familiarity with UPS, FedEx, or similar shipping software. Experience with manufacturing ERP/MRP systems such as E2, JobBOSS, or JobBOSS². Basic familiarity with manufacturing processes, production work orders, or quality control. Mechanical aptitude or an interest in technical manufacturing. Experience with Microsoft Office or similar business software. Previous experience in all areas is not required. - 5:30 PM (40 hour work week with 30 minute unpaid lunch break) Occasional overtime may be required based on production needs.
