Toyota Industries Electric Systems North America (TIESNA-GA) is building the future of mobility-and we're looking for talented professionals to help us get there. As a subsidiary of Toyota Industries Corporation (TICO) , a global leader in automotive components, material handling equipment, and logistics solutions, TIESNA-GA is launching a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Pendergrass, Georgia. Our new plant will assemble DC-AC Inverters and future DC-DC Converters that power today's electric and hybrid vehicles across North America. What You'll Do As a Production Control Specialist , you'll play a critical role in ensuring production runs efficiently by coordinating materials, schedules, logistics, and customer requirements.
Your responsibilities will include:
Develop and maintain mid-term and weekly production schedules Plan, order, and coordinate parts and shipments Manage production data using Infor and other planning systems Analyze inventory levels to prevent shortages and excess inventory Forecast customer demand and production requirements Coordinate purchasing activities to support production Manage EDI transactions and customer logistics requirements Communicate directly with customers, suppliers, carriers, and internal departments Monitor delivery performance and implement continuous improvements Identify production risks and proactively recommend solutions Support a Just-in-Time (JIT) manufacturing environment Maintain accurate records and provide exceptional customer service Collaborate across departments in a multicultural, team-oriented workplace
What We're Looking For Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Materials Management, Operations, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience) 5+ years of relevant experience in production control, supply chain, materials planning, logistics, or manufacturing Experience with Microsoft Excel, MRP systems, and AS400 Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a global manufacturing organization Familiarity with Japanese business culture Japanese language skills are a plus Why Join TIESNA?
