Job Description This role supports a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing facility in Greenfield by performing a variety of production, packaging, and inspection tasks on 2nd or 3rd shift. You will work within one of several departments, operating or tending automated equipment, handling materials, and ensuring products meet quality and documentation standards. This position requires standing for the full shift, working one weekend day, and consistently following safety and cleanliness procedures. Available Shifts & Pay 2nd shift: 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM // $22.03 3rd shift: 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM // $22.03 Responsibilities Load and unload automated machine lines to keep production flowing efficiently. Use hand and power tools safely and accurately to support production and assembly tasks. Handle and move materials weighing up to 25 pounds throughout the shift. Perform visual inspection of parts to identify defects, deficiencies, or irregularities. Document lot numbers, part deficiencies, and other production information accurately and legibly. Follow written work instructions and standard operating procedures for each job assignment. Package products according to specifications, including labeling and preparing items for shipment or storage. Use RF scanners to track inventory, materials, and finished goods as required. Support general labor and material handling tasks such as loading, unloading, and staging materials. Maintain cleanliness of the workstation by sweeping, mopping, and organizing tools and materials. Stand for the entirety of the shift while performing production, assembly, and inspection duties. Work collaboratively with team members and communicate issues related to quality, safety, or equipment. Adhere to all safety guidelines and quality standards within the manufacturing environment. Work one scheduled weekend day per week, depending on department assignment. Essential Skills Experience in general production, manufacturing, or a similar hands-on role. Ability to stand for the entire shift and perform repetitive tasks safely and efficiently. Demonstrated good job tenure, with 2+ years per place of employment preferred. Ability to read and follow work instructions and written procedures accurately. Experience with packaging and assembly tasks in a production environment. Experience in general labor, loading, unloading, and material handling. Familiarity with labeling and basic documentation of production information. Ability to perform visual inspection of parts and identify defects or irregularities. Comfort lifting and handling items weighing up to 25 pounds on a regular basis. Why Work Here? Work Environment This position is based in a clean, well-lit, climate-controlled manufacturing facility in Greenfield. The work is performed on 2nd shift (2:00 PM to 10:00 PM) or 3rd shift (10:00 PM to 6:00 AM), with an expectation to work a straight 8-hour shift plus one weekend day per week, depending on department (Saturday or Sunday for 2nd shift, Friday or Saturday for 3rd shift). You will work in a modern production area for an automotive parts manufacturer, using automated machine lines, hand tools, power tools, and RF scanners. The role requires standing for the entire shift, regularly handling materials up to 25 pounds, and maintaining a tidy and organized workstation through sweeping and mopping as needed.
