0 POSITION SUMMARY The Press Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring press equipment to manufacture components that meet established quality and production standards. This role includes setting up and running presses and related machinery, performing routine assembly tasks, and ensuring accurate processing of materials. This position requires standing for extended periods, repeated lifting of up to 50lbs, maintaining attention to detail, and adapting quickly to changing production demands. The Press Operator is expected to follow all company policies, safety regulations, and standard operating procedures at all times.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
v Responsible for operating and monitoring press equipment. v Setting up and running presses and related machinery. v Reads and comprehends equipment manuals, shop packets, and Manufacturing Specifications then perform required computations to accurately press parts and components. v Must be able to use measuring devices such as, but not limited to steel rules, thermometers, and pressure gauges. v Informs leadership of all maintenance related issues. v Document work completed. v Will require individuals to stand for long periods of time in a noisy manufacturing environment. v Role will require associates to do some small machine maintenance throughout the shift. v Other duties as assigned.POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
