Job Description

Atkins & Pearce Inc., a leader in engineered textiles, is seeking a CIP Floor Clerk to support continuous improvement activities on the production floor. In this role, you will collect and enter production data, track work orders, maintain 5S standards, and help document process changes. You'll coordinate with operators and supervisors to ensure materials, labels, and paperwork are accurate and complete. The CIP Floor Clerk assists with audits, updates visual boards, and prepares basic reports that support quality, safety, and productivity initiatives in a collaborative, team-focused environment. Responsibilities Collect and enter production and process data into tracking systems Maintain accurate work orders, labels, and floor documentation Support continuous improvement (CIP) activities and projects Assist with 5 S organization and visual management on the floor Coordinate with operators and supervisors to resolve documentation issues Prepare basic production and CIP reports for leadership Support quality and safety audits with timely records and follow-up Monitor inventory of forms, labels, and related floor supplies Update visual boards and metrics to reflect current performance Follow all safety, quality, and company procedures Required Skills Data entry Production documentation management Basic Excel and Word Inventory tracking5 S and workplace organization Basic Lean/continuous improvement concepts Attention to detail Time management Communication with floor staff and supervisors Safety and quality awareness
