Nesting Role Description- involve placing and arranging two-dimensional part shapes inside a raw material sheet to reduce waste
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Software Layout:
Arranging digital part shapes closely together on a screen to save metal. Path Optimization:
Setting the order of cuts so the machine moves quickly and safely. Material Management:
Choosing the right sheet size and thickness for the parts. File Preparation:
Converting layouts into machine code (G-code) that CNC cutters can read. Pay/Benefits 35k starting Salary or an equivalent hourly pay depending on work schedule Personal Time Off (PTO)- Accrue up to 2 weeks after six months. Eligible to accrue an additional day (8 hours) of PTO per year, starting in year 6. Up to a total of 15 of Days of PTO (3 weeks)
- Minimum of 7 Company Paid Holiday plus additional days as the company determines.
- 40 Hours Sick Days with doctors' notes immediately upon employment.
