Job Overview Northern Staffing Services is currently recruiting for a respected premium chocolate manufacturer in the Petoskey area that is seeking dependable 1st and 2nd Shift Chocolate Production Associates . Key Responsibilities:
As a Chocolate Production Associate, you will help produce high-quality chocolate products while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality.
Daily responsibilities may include:
Operate production equipment safely and efficiently. Measure, mix, and prepare ingredients according to production specifications. Package finished chocolate products with accuracy and attention to detail. Inspect products throughout the manufacturing process to ensure quality standards are met. Maintain clean and organized work areas, equipment, and production tools. Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures. Assist with baking, cooking, and other food preparation tasks as needed. Move ingredients, materials, and finished products safely throughout the facility. Complete production records and quality documentation accurately. Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production and efficiency goals. Qualifications We're looking for candidates who have: Previous experience in manufacturing, food production, warehouse operations, or a related field preferred. Baking, cooking, or commercial kitchen experience is an asset but not required. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality products. The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. A dependable work ethic, positive attitude, and strong teamwork skills. The ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as required. A willingness to follow established food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures at all times.
