Production Worker - 1st Shift - Start ASAP Job Description Join a dedicated team responsible for the manufacturing and assembling of custom windows and door walls. You will work in one of four areas: Shipping & Receiving, Frames, Sashes, or Doorwall/Casements. Positions are interchangeable to some extent, and you will receive ongoing training in different sub-assemblies throughout the facility as you learn and grow. Responsibilities Assemble windows or door walls, including measuring and cutting vinyl, glass, and other materials. Lift and move materials repetitively, with weights ranging from 10 to 50+ lbs. Punch holes into materials and strip the materials as needed. Use hand tools and place flexy glass on frames. Operate machines, saws, or weld when required. Perform repetitive movements such as grasping, reaching, pulling, pushing, and bending. Stock and clean the workspace and general areas. Undertake other duties or responsibilities as assigned. Essential Skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively. Experience with hand tools, including the ability to hold and use tools such as a hammer. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet quotas. Capacity to stand for the entire duration of the shift. Flexibility to bend, twist, and squat throughout the shift. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to read a tape measure. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Taylor, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
