Job Description

Job Overview Join Sofidel America's growing Duluth facility as a Product Office Assistant and play a key role in bringing new products to life. This hands-on, onsite position sits inside our manufacturing environment and blends technical data management, product documentation, and cross‑functional coordination to keep production running smoothly and accurately. Why you'll love this role Be at the heart of a fast‑paced manufacturing operation where your attention to detail directly impacts product quality and delivery. Work collaboratively with Production, Operations and Development teams to support product launches and continuous improvement. Use strong Excel and data skills daily to create, analyze, and maintain critical product and production information. What you'll do Create and maintain technical specifications, bills of materials (BOMs), and product documentation. Enter and update daily production and raw material consumption data (SAP experience a plus). Monitor product layouts, decorations, packaging specs, and technical characteristics. Support new product launches and update documentation for raw and auxiliary materials to meet customer requirements. Prepare and maintain accurate production reports and reference data; create production batches and verify quantities produced. Analyze consumption data to ensure inventory accuracy and report discrepancies. Coordinate across departments to resolve issues, support workflow, and drive improvements to products, materials, and palletizing systems. Report equipment, material, or operational concerns and help maintain a safe, organized workspace. Participate in team meetings and perform other duties as assigned. What we're looking for Strong Excel and data‑management skills; quick learner with the ability to understand multiple systems and how they interact. Detail oriented, analytical, and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset. Experience in product development, production reporting, or manufacturing support preferred. Self‑motivated, critical thinker with a sense of urgency and a commitment to meeting objectives. Passion for people (and pets) is a plus. Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree preferred 1 to 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows SAP experience is a plus Strong interpersonal and communication skills Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to learn and perform each essential duty satisfactorily. WORK ENVIRONMENT
Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required when in the plant and warehouse areas. PPE will include safety shoes, eye and ear protection, reflective vests and hairnets or hats along with any other necessary protection. Temperatures in the plant/warehouse can range a great deal from season to season. The employee will be exposed to considerable paper dust and employees will also be exposed to noise levels that will require hearing protection.
