This position plays an important role at the beginning of our manufacturing process, preparing and cutting the materials that eventually become Frost River packs, bags, and other sewn goods. The CNC Cutting Table Operator is responsible for setting up and operating our automated cutting equipment to cut waxed canvas, leather, wool, and other materials according to production needs. The position also supports kitting, tacking, material handling, and other production tasks as needed. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate who is dependable, comfortable working with computers and equipment, and interested in learning a hands-on manufacturing role. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC fabric and material cutting tables. Organize and prioritize cutting tasks based on daily and weekly production needs. Load, position, inspect, and handle a variety of materials, including waxed canvas, leather, wool, and other textiles. Review cutting files and production information for accuracy before beginning a job and expand on current information to build out up-to-date SOPs. Use Katana MRP to review manufacturing orders, material requirements, and production priorities. Navigate digital files using Google Drive and cutting software, including AccuMark, CutWorks, and AutoCAD LT. Monitor cutting operations to ensure accuracy, material efficiency, and quality. Troubleshoot basic cutting table issues and coordinate with equipment support services when needed. Perform routine, light-duty equipment maintenance. Operate automated sewing equipment, including tackers. Assist with kitting materials and components for the sewing department. Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area. Communicate production needs, material concerns, equipment issues, and other relevant information with the production team. Support other production tasks and departments as needed. Look for opportunities to improve efficiency, organization, and production processes. Perform other duties as assigned. This job is ideal for someone who is:

Qualifications Manufacturing, CNC, textile cutting, warehouse, or production experience is preferred but not required. Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new software systems are required. Ability to perform basic math and accurately follow written production instructions. Ability to communicate and understand information verbally and in writing. Ability to work safely around automated manufacturing equipment. Ability to sit, stand, bend, stretch, twist, and reach throughout the workday. Ability to lift and move materials and equipment weighing up to 70 pounds.
Job Type:
Full-Time Regular Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
Overtime:
Opportunities may be available on weekends.

Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
