• Summary:

• The Finishing Line Operator is responsible for the safe, efficient, and high-quality operation of saw lines, paint booths, and finishing areas in a production environment. This position offers opportunities to learn all production positions and progress to higher skill levels and responsibilities. Attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and commitment to safety and quality are essential.

• Qualifications:

• + Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing or production preferred + Mechanical aptitude, with ability to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting + Ability to operate forklifts, aerial lifts, and other material handling equipment safely + Strong attention to detail, quality control awareness, and problem-solving skills + Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting + Familiarity with industrial finishing and production processes •

Physical Working Conditions:

• + Able to stand and walk for long periods (up to 12 hours) + Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting (30-50 lbs) + Exposure to dust, noise, temperature changes, and chemicals (paints, solvents) + Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed + Work is performed on a busy production floor, requiring attention to safety and detail

• Core Responsibilities:

• Saw Line Operation
• + Operate and monitor saw line equipment to cut and process work-in-progress (WIP) panels + Perform routine quality checks for dimensional accuracy and surface quality + Conduct basic maintenance: blade inspection/replacement and minor adjustments + Record production data and complete shift documentation
• Paint Booth Operation
• + Operate and maintain paint booth equipment for applying coatings and finishes + Monitor environment and paint application for quality and industry standards + Inspect finished products for paint defects (thickness, coverage, chips, appearance) + Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of paint equipment
• Product Grading, Stacking & Packaging
• + Inspect siding boards, panels, or finished products for defects; assign grades; flag items for rework/disposal + Stack finished products with protective materials to prevent damage + Prepare bundles/pallets for storage or shipment, ensuring accurate counts and labeling + Assist with packaging line operations and material handling
• General Responsibilities
