Job Description
1Micro in Waconia, MN is a fast-growing tech company that manufactures and manages key security devices and inventory systems for car dealerships, commercial companies, fleet departments, and multifamily properties. For over 30 years, we have provided innovative solutions for some of the common problems within the automotive industry, and we continue to push the boundaries of technology to better serve our customers. Due to our rapid growth and current development projects with multiple Fortune 500 companies, we are looking for a team-focused, driven, and friendly Production Specialist to join our team! Primary Responsibilities
- Identify, prepare, and assemble materials and parts for our proprietary key management and security systems
- Perform inventory counts and ensure that work is recorded accurately
- Conduct basic testing on products to ensure quality and troubleshoot issues as they arise, reporting any defective materials or questionable conditions to the department team lead or supervisor
- Inspect, prepare, and package products for shipping
- Communicate with other team members to keep production moving smoothly
- Ensure that all actions are performed in a safe and responsible manner by keeping work area clean, maintaining attention to detail, and following company policies
- Perform tasks efficiently and effectively, ensuring schedules and quality standards are met Hours and Benefits
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- 1Micro offers a flexible schedule between the hours of 6:00am to 5:00pm
Compensation:
$20-$27/hour, depending on experience- Full benefits package to include: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k and Paid Time Off (PTO) Requirements
- Assembly experience required
- Welding / TIG welding experience is a plus.
- CNC experience is a plus
- Manufacturing or warehouse experience is a plus
- Ability to use hands, hand tools, and electrical tools
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to follow procedures and maintain the quality of products at all times
- Strong organizational and time management skills to meet assigned deadlines
- Ability to be flexible and to adapt
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with high levels of accuracy
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
