The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of roll-forming machinery. This position requires a strong focus on quality control, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to operate various machinery safely and effectively. Responsibilities Operate roll-forming machines as needed, following safety protocols at all times. Conduct machine changeovers, which involve lifting heavy tooling. Conduct quality control checks on incoming and outgoing materials to ensure compliance with specifications. Use tablets and control interfaces to run material needed for jobs. Maintain an organized workspace, ensuring that all materials are properly stored and labeled. Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency. Safely operate forklifts to transport materials within the facility. Operate metal strapping equipment. Experience Previous experience in a manufacturing facility is preferred, particularly in roles involving material handling or assembly line work. Familiarity with micrometers, calipers and other measuring devices. Strong mechanical knowledge related to machinery operation and maintenance. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Experience operating forklifts or other heavy machinery, with valid certification preferred but not mandatory.
