Protect Steel, a well-established metal roofing and siding manufacturing company, is currently hiring for the position of In-House Manufacturing Representative at our Billings store.

The Position:

We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Warehouse Production Worker to join our steel roofing and siding production team. This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced warehouse environment where safety, quality, accuracy, and teamwork are important. The offered pay range for this position is $18.00 to $22.00 per hour, commensurate with experience (DOE).

Key Qualifications:

Physical strength to regularly lift up to 50lbs and occasionally lift up to 80lbs. Ability to maintain stamina and coordination in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Proficiency in reading a tape measure. Skill in operating power tools. Basic computer literacy. High School Diploma or GED. Must be 18 years of age or older to operate machinery.

Responsibilities:

Safely and effectively operate a range of production equipment, such as trim brakes, shears, and presses. Operate forklift equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Construct wooden crates and pallets for shipping purposes. Perform equipment repairs and maintenance as required. Receive and handle customer paperwork, ensuring each project is completed safely, accurately, and within the specified timeframe. Adhere to safety procedures and company policies, promptly reporting any instances of unsafe operations or injuries to the supervisor.
