Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as an Industrial Sewing Machine Handbag Specialist! In this vital role, you will be at the forefront of creating high-quality handbags by operating industrial sewing machines and ensuring each product meets our rigorous standards. Your expertise in sewing, materials handling, and quality control will contribute directly to delivering stylish, durable handbags that delight our customers. This position offers a hands-on, fast-paced environment where your skills will make a tangible impact every day. Duties Operate industrial sewing machines and serging equipment to assemble handbag components with precision and efficiency Manually cut fabric materials according to detailed patterns and measurements, ensuring accuracy for each piece Construct handbags by following detailed garment construction and seam construction techniques Handle various materials including fabrics, upholstery, and leather to meet project specifications Conduct dimensional measurements and quality inspections to ensure products adhere to strict quality standards in production Maintain safety standards in production by following proper procedures and using protective equipment at all times Assist with materials handling within the warehouse or production area, organizing supplies for smooth workflow Requirements Proven experience with sewing machine operation, particularly industrial sewing machines and serging equipment Strong understanding of measuring instruments and dimensional measurements for precise fabric cutting and assembly Knowledge of quality standards in production, including garment sewing, upholstery, and handbag manufacturing processes Familiarity with materials handling, fabric materials, and upholstery techniques Ability to perform manual cutting (fabric cutting) accurately based on detailed patterns and measurements Experience with safety standards in production environments to ensure a safe working space for all team members Basic warehouse experience is preferred to support efficient materials management during production processes Join us if you're passionate about craftsmanship, dedicated to quality, and eager to contribute your sewing expertise to innovative handbag manufacturing!
